Degree from Shurtleff College and an M.B.A. degree from the University of Iowa. He spent his entire career in the wet-milling industry in various technical and managerial positions. The recipient of this scholarship shall be a student enrolled at Southeast Missouri State University with a major in the Holland College of Arts and Media.

The Gohns not only give generously to the University , they also encourage others in the community to give back to Southeast. Their involvement has encouraged many alumni and friends to give their time, talent, and treasures to their alma mater. After attending Southeast, Adam earned his JD from Southern Illinois University in 2013 and has practiced law in Cape Girardeau ever since. He is actively engaged as a volunteer for university initiatives and serves as a member of the Redhawks Club Board of Directors as well as a member of the KRCU Public Radio Development Committee.
The scholarship recipient must be an Agriculture major attending Southeast Missouri State University – Sikeston, Malden or Kennett campus with a 2.5 or higher GPA. First preference will be given to a minority student who meets the above-stated criteria. Second preference is for an incoming senior student majoring in social work who has overcome “greatest odds” to completion. This award is made possible by the Margaret Woods Allen Addictions Nursing Scholarship fund. $500 will be awarded to a winning essay that addresses a topic related to addiction nursing. The recipient of this scholarship will be a student majoring in Hospitality Management, with a minimum 2.5 GPA.

Bill moved to Denver, Colorado, in 1992 to pursue a career as a U.S. The Nunley Scholarship is awarded to pre-pharmacy or chemistry students who have shown interest in attending pharmacy school. The applicants must have a B average and financial need will be a consideration.
After three years with the company, the ownership elected to sell the business to Nestle. After the sale to Nestle, Gettinger took a position with Wyeth Pharmaceuticals as Vice President of International Finance and Administration for the Medical Products Division. He retired from this position in 1998 and has been on the Board of two homeowners’ associations. He and his wife Mary enjoy playing golf and bridge, boating and traveling. R. Melvin Gateley was born in Oran, Missouri, and graduated from Oran High School in 1944.

This scholarship will be awarded to a student who participates in a sport while majoring in the business field. Recipients of this scholarship shall be an incoming Freshman, having received either an Eagle Scout as a Boy Scout or the Gold Award as a Girl Scout, and have a minimum high school GPA of 3.0 or equivalent. The recipient of this scholarship shall be a student enrolled at Southeast Missouri State University who is a graduate of Caruthersville High School with a minimum 3.0 GPA. The recipient may attend Southeast at the main campus or a regional campus and must enroll for the Fall semester immediately following graduation from high school.
This scholarship shall be awarded to a faculty member of the Bernie School System who is working toward his/her Master's or Specialist degree in the College of Education. Establishing a scholarship in memory of her husband, the Reverend P. A. Kasey, was the goal of his wife, May Johnston Kasey, their daughter, Martha Kasey Siurua, and her husband, Samuel W. Siurua, of Indianapolis. The recipient of this scholarship shall be a student enrolled at Southeast Missouri State University majoring in Criminal Justice with a 3.0 GPA. The Beatrice and Russell Scholarship is available to graduate students in the College of Education, Health and Human Studies who are pursuing a Masters in Exceptional Child. Both academic performance and financial need will be considered.
The family lived in poverty much of his life, and college was never a guarantee. Growing up as a racially mixed child in the rural Midwest, Neal looked to find his own identity. First preference shall be given to a descendent of Leo and Virginia Boren. Second preference shall be given to a student who majors in Business. The Warren and Pauline Scholarship will be awarded to a teacher education student who has maintained at least a 2.75 grade point average and demonstrates financial need.
I was not able to help each of my students as much as I would have liked. I would have liked to help my student Terri Lovett to attend SEMO in 1985. She was one of the co-captains of the Beaumont High School Pompon Squad that I sponsored. It is in honor of Terri and all students like her who attend St. Louis Public Schools who deserve the opportunity that this scholarship is named Lovett. The recipient must be pursuing a degree in education, majoring in mathematics, with a preference for secondary education. It is our hope that our annual scholarship grant from the Southeast Missouri University Foundation will in some small way help future students achieve and enjoy this same career and life success.
He is a 1957 Southeast Missouri State University graduate who majored in earth science and marketing. Genevieve, Missouri, graduated from Fontbonne University and spent 2 years at Southeast Missouri State University. She was the Varsity Cheerleader Sponsor at Florissant Junior High School, 1976 – 79, and the Varsity Cheerleader Sponsor at A.C. She was active with several professional organizations, and particularly enjoyed her work with the College Board. In 1994, she was elected to Who’s Who in American Education.
The recipient of this scholarship will be students majoring in accounting with a 3.2 GPA who have completed 12 credit hours in accounting, are an active member of Beta Alpha Psi, and planning a career as a Certified Public Accountant. Mrs. Jackson grew up in a family that had a strong tradition of community involvement. She was involved in planning and coordinating Cairo Riverboat Days for over 15 years and was a past president of Beta Sigma Phi. In 2010, then-Governor Pat Quinn appointed her to serve on the Alexander-Cairo Port District board which she served on for over three years.
Rev. Brown is survived by wife Dora; children Willie Arnold, Dorice Smith, Tracy Arnold, Halima Arnold and Dora Ellen Brown; adopted son Julian Askew; and 19 grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Rev. Wilson is survived by wife Christine, son William , son Charles, and three grandchildren. Rev. Lee is survived by daughter Shani Bell, daughter Melanie Smith, son Robert Wallace, stepdaughter Sherri Wallace, and eight grandchildren.
